The File Browser allows you to look through
your pc from within photoshop yourself when you find an image you need
you double click on it to open it |

| You can access it three ways

| With the File Browser you can do a lot more than just browse for files you can also Rank,Rotate and Rename files using the File Browser. |

Ranking Files Right click on a file to Rank it A
|
Then click on the bottom tab on the file browser to organize
images by rank the file you ranked a will move to the top |

| Rotate Files

To Rotate an image in file Browser
Click on the rotate button on the bottom of the file browser to rotate a file clockwise 90 degrees or ALT click -90 degrees |

To Batch Rename files select atleast two files right click an select batch rename a dialog box will open apply the following settings and the file names will change but have a unique serial number . | ||

| File properties viewer when you click on a file in the File Browser an image of the file appears on the left left pane below that are the properties of the file if it was shot on a digital camera then the exposure details are retained | ![]() |
