Page 1 Drawing with the shape tools in Photoshop7

Download the lizard picture and open it in Photoshop

Select the ellipse shape tool from the tool palette and draw a ellipse around the body of the lizard .
Make the colour a bright like red
Select the add to shape button on the properties palette and draw the rest of the circles .

Name the layer by double clicking on it and call it body

Change the fill opacity on the layer to about 40% so you can see the outline beneath .

Select the direct selection button and click on one of the circles, drag and manipulate the anchor points to create the shape that you need.

Add anchor points by right clicking your mouse .
when you add the legs make sure they are on another layer
keep fine tuning the shapes note you can move them with the path selection tool which is in the same place as the direct selection button next page
