This exercise is to be used in conjunction with face to face training On the photoshop menu Go to New/preset Sizes /A4 with a white background 150 DPI |

Select some images to use as graphics in your document from the file browser try to select some images with a common theme |
Select each image using ctrl+A and copy using ctrl+C Paste into your new document using ctrl+V and lay them out with white space for text areas |

Creating a type mask for banner Type some large text for a banner use ctrl+T to stretch text |

select a picture that below your text press ctrl and select your text you will get a selection shaped like the text on the picture layer |
| go to select inverse on your menu and press delete you should get the following results | ![]() |
